No, BioHeal Red Light Panel does not generate heat.

Can you use it with a mild lotion?

For best results, do not use after applying lotions or creams to your skin.

How long can you use it per day?

You may use the BioHeal for 15-20 minutes per day.

Is it really necessary to use the BioHeal 4 inches away from the body?

Yes it is important to have a distance when using the BioHeal to get the most effect of the red light.
Unlike the belt, the BioHeal can cover a larger area and using it directly will only be effective on a smaller spot.
