Can I use red light therapy over clothing?Updated 16 days ago

For best results, red light therapy should be used directly on bare skin. Clothing blocks or significantly reduces the light's ability to penetrate to the skin and underlying tissue, which greatly diminishes the therapeutic benefit. Light-colored, thin fabrics may allow some light through, but the penetration will be far less effective than direct skin contact. We recommend removing clothing from the area being treated before each session.
